The Latest in Cervical Artificial Disc Placement

Dr. Kuether recently became certified on an exciting new technology — Medtronic’s Bryan Artificial Cervical Disk.  Some information on the disc is shown in this link:

Dr. Kuether is admitted to SOLAS – Society of Lateral Access Surgery

On February 17th, 2013

Dr. Kuether got off to a good start in 2013 with his admission to SOLAS.

The intent of SOLAS is to foster research, training initiatives, and peer-to-peer communication that help define and advance the science and art of lateral access surgery and particularly, the XLIF®technique.

For surgeons, SOLAS® provides a forum to debate and advance techniques, a process to train surgeons in pace with advancements, a vehicle for clinical studies and publications, and a resource for patient and media support materials.

Representing the pioneering adopters and thought leaders of lateral access surgery, SOLAS is shaping the future of lateral access spine surgery through collaboration among members, sharing of ideas, and promotion of new spine surgery techniques that benefit patient, physician, and hospital.
